Inspired by Lewis Hydes definition of the gift and modeled after Bohmian Dialogue, Pollination is a perennial project classified by thematic hives. Each hive is a queued visual conversation, a member of the b club initiates the hive by creating five similar artworks, gifting one to each member, then the next in line responds to that work by creating five artworks and subsequently gifting that artwork to each member, and so on, till all five Bs have participated.
As an open work, Pollination is a deepened exchange from our separate locations. It remains motivated by gratitude and the necessity to allocate space for the subtleties of synchronicity while crisscrossing individual knowledge, perception, aesthetics, and process. Pollination honors individual ways of working and knowing while discovering similarities and differences.
